We have collaborated on setting a series of dates for the CLSI EP-23 Online Workshop where participants can take the modules online and get actual review and feedback of their laboratory's IQCP from the experts. MLT Consultants' clients not only get the expertise of CLSI but also work directly with our Technical Consultants to complete an IQCP and successfully implement it as well.

• Dates for the IQCP Review are available throughout 2015 and are scheduled each month based on client availability.

This fun and interesting online workshop allows for anyone, anywhere, anytime to learn about EP23 and its intent to help simplify QC based on risk management.

 

The new EP23™ online workshop is a distance learning program that imparts the knowledge and skills necessary for the successful implementation of CLSI document EP23-A™—Laboratory Quality Control Based on Risk Management; Approved Guideline. The program consists of self-paced lessons followed by a homework assignment, an interactive, one-on-one online lesson, and an evaluation section.

Implementing the IQCP approach is an alternative QC option for replacing the existing equivalent quality control option.

The homework assignment (to be completed before participation in the online lesson) allows participants to create a quality control plan (QCP) for an analyte used in their health care settings.

 

During the online lesson, the participant will receive feedback and tips on enhancing their QCP example from a CLSI instructor. This online lesson interaction aims to answer any specific questions or concerns about implementing a successful QC program.
